As the signs in the heavens are testifying of God’s latter-day work, and prophecies are being fulfilled, we feel the need to unite in the hope that Zion will come, and that the work Joseph Smith started can finally come to fruition. We believe that God is still working through the restoration to fulfill His promises, gather Israel, and bring together the group of gentiles who will assist the remnant in building a city, which shall be called the New Jerusalem. (3 Nephi 21: 23-25)

It is our hope that many people will heed this call to come together in love and fellowship and that we can get to know more of our restoration brothers and sisters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the organizers of this conference?

We are a group of people living in the Boise area who are passionate about the Gospel restored through Joseph Smith. We believe that the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel, and that no man should become between us and God. It is our belief that God is still working to bring about the fulness of the restoration, fulfill His covenants, and bring forth the promised last days Zion.

What is the purpose of this conference?

The point of the conference is for people to have an opportunity to come together on “neutral ground” and celebrate the things that unite, rather than divide, all of us who look to Joseph Smith as our founding prophet. We hope to have a day filled with gathering truth, learning from each other, and making new friends.

Is there a hidden agenda?

There is no hidden agenda. The purpose is not to evangelize or convert one another, but rather to understand one another and seek common ground. This is our third year organizing this conference, and past conferences have amply demonstrated there is nothing to fear, and much to gain from meeting together in this way.

Who will be speaking?

We will have a variety of speakers from the various branches of the restoration. Speakers are not expected to speak in any official capacity, or act as official representatives of any restoration branch. The focus will be on Jesus Christ and the work He started through Joseph Smith.

Who should attend?

Anyone who has ties to the original church restored through Joseph Smith, believes in the Book of Mormon, or who desires to get to know and understand others with similar beliefs should attend! We don’t particularly care what branch you come from, who you worship with, or whether we all agree on everything. There is more than enough basis in the restored gospel for us to fellowship with each other.

What should I expect the day of the conference?

The meeting will consist of carefully chosen speakers, amazing music, and worship through prayer. There will be small breaks during the day to stand up and stretch and get to know others. A potluck picnic is scheduled at a nearby park directly following the conference meeting. The main dish and water will be provided. Conference attendees are encouraged to bring a simple side dish and are welcome to stay until dark. We look forward to a wonderful day!
